JUDGE JUDY RESIGNS FROM HER TV SHOW

If you click your mouse over the ujderlined words, you will get more information.

The TV star has announced that she is leaving her show  after 23 seasons.  she has  said she was leaving her 'Judge Judy show to spend more time with her family—but CBS's Sassy Judge may actually have better reasons for leaving her show.

Judy Sheindlin, (professionally known as Judge Judy) the 75-year-old star of CBS's 'Judge Judy' has shocked many followers of her show  after announcing her departure from the show after 23 record breaking seasons.

According to various sources, sponsors pay millions to advertise their products with CBS, but we're now learning their sponsors (and CBS, too) are furious with Judy. Why? Because she failed to disclose her massive skincare empire to CBS, which is actually a huge competitor to the show's sponsor L’Oreal because Judy's product is half the price and twice as effective as their competing product. According to sources, CBS made Judy decide on which direction she was going to focus on in the future. Being so turned off by the reaction of CBS and their Power Move she has decided to pursue her new skincare line and dream and abandon her show.

Judy Sheindlin, better recognized by her courtroom name— “Judge Judy,” is a level-headed TV judge, you can’t negotiate with. Today, her net worth values about $290million. The 75 years old  judge asserts to have earned an annual compensation of $47 million. Judge Judy became the highest-paid TV star judge earning $900,000 per day from the Judy Judge show.

This TV star just works for 52 days in a year, not even two months of a year, and still is a multi-millionaire Grandee. Judy Sheindlin aced the daytime TV, becoming the highest-paid TV star of the day. Her most popular show—Judy Judge, in 2016, broadcasted 260 original episodes annually which were sold in 150 foreign territories raking in a mind-boggling $244.7 million in ad revenue for CBS.

As per New York Post reports circulated during the time, it was surmised that the popular daytime TV actor traded for whole of her 10,400 show chronicles back to CBS for a guesstimated amount of $95millon, with which CBS obtained the legal right to sell the show to streaming enterprises such as Amazon, Netflix and/or Hulu etc. If you take a closer look at Judge Judy’s salary then, her salary in the year 2005 was estimated to be around $25 million. In 2007, her salary slightly increased and reached up to $30 million making her net worth $95 million. This income was just from the income from her TV show.

People who want her to hear their civil cases, submit the particulars of their claims and defences ahead of time so that Judy can study the particulars before the show begins. Then they argue their cases before her during the shows. Her decisions mean that they canot proceed in a real court later.

Although she makes a great deal of money doing the show, she will continue receiving income from the shows being repeated on TV. She also gets a huge amount of money in the sales of her skincare empire which apparently is a very successful venture.

Also Judy is a great author who has written many books such as Win or Lose by How You Choose, Cool Rules for School, You Can’t Judge a Book by Its Cover, You’re Smarter Than You Look, Judge Judy Sheindlin’s and many others, which are also a great source of earnings.

A judge in the Supreme Court of the United States earns $251,800 a year which is far less than the 47 million dollars Judy earns in a year making decisions on her show.  It is ironic when you consider that her decisions are nothing compared to the decisions Supreme Court judges make.  That is one of the ironies of life in this era
