LIES: Small ones, Big ones
and real Woppers
Every human being tells lies.
Anyone who says he doesn’t lie; is lying to you. Vinay
Menon once said, that there are lies, damned lies and idiotic celebrities
lies.
Small lies are the kind when you tell your mom that
you didn’t steal a cookie from the cookie jar and big ones like the ones President
Trump tells. The Woppers are like the ones told by Shad Gregory Moss (born March 9, 1987), better known by his stage name Bow Wow (formerly Lil' Bow Wow), and who is an American rapper, actor and television host.
This
30-year-old is a real lying bastard. For your information, Bow Wow, the term
bastard refers to a male dog.
Consider the curious case of
Bow Wow, who for reasons that remain obvious (now that his show is no more) posted
a photo on Instagram of a private jet with the caption: “Travel day. NYC press
run for Growing Up Hip Hop. Lets gooo. I promise to bring yall the hottest show
EVER.” The picture of the private jet was a fake. He doesn’t own a private jet.
He’s never even flown in a private jet.
But instead of embarking upon
this hot publicity tour, Bow Wow quickly found himself rhetorically standing in
a muddy ditch along the information superhighway as passersby rolled down their
virtual windows to point, jeer, laugh and shout, “You stupid lying bastard! “
Bow Wow, this is getting ridiculous.
How many times do we have to go over this with you? Everything you now do, say
or post is subject to the scrutiny of online sleuthing. Any gaps between your
fantasies and reality will quickly give way to you being considered as a pile
of shit in which the stench will make decent people vomit.
Just look at the ridicule Bow
Wow endured several weeks ago after his lifestyle brag of having 3.4 million
followers was debunked while he was still in the air at 30,000 feet in which he
was sitting in the economy class on a
commercial flight.
On that same day, Bow Wow’s
followers were shown a picture of his make-believe luxurious private jet when
at the same time he was really a passenger aboard an Atlanta-to-New York flight
where a passenger snapped a picture of this fool leaning back in a cramped seat
and checking his phone and looking like he was some big shot.
The passenger then posted the
photo to Twitter: “So this guy, lil Bow Wow is on my flight to NY. But on Instagram
he posted a picture of a private jet captioned ‘traveling to NY today’ smh.” (shaking
my head)
What is Bow Wow is doing now
after watching his publicity tour crash and burn into a mountain he
accidentally built out of hubris and his stupid shit.
His humiliation spread far
and wide on Wednesday (May 10th )as #bowwowchallenge became a
trending topic — “Fake it like Bow Wow and Tweet like a millionaire” — and
jokesters taunted the rapper with misleading photos of their own.
Has this dummy also doctored
photos showing him posing with celebrities? Will we see him shaking hands with
Trump or even sitting at the table with Trump?
Bow Wow set out to promote a
show that was likely to be watched only by tens and not thousands. He has enlarged
his followers so that they can deride him by the thousands.
To make matters worse,
someone discovered his alleged private jet was actually a stock image from an
executive travel company in Fort Lauderdale. I’m surprised he didn’t post a
photo of the White House and claim that he sleeps in when he is in Washington.
So now he may get sued for copyright infringement, which may result in costly
legal fees in which his next public
sighting may well be on the back of a city bus instead of an expensive car.
The last thing we need is idiotic celebrity lies, which only muddies
the river of mendacity and distract us from the serious lies that are both
unrelenting and getting stronger.
At a time of fake news,
alternative facts, state-sponsored hacking and hyper-partisan shouting, idiotic
celebrity lies only help to trivialize the rising tide of serious lies. Idiotic
celebrity lies create the impression that lying is now so entrenched in the
culture, it ultimately amounts to a harmless folly.
When the BBC and sedate media
outlets cover Bow Wow’s foolish fakery and Trump’s whoppers become footnotes in
the entertainment press, somewhere within this nexus we are becoming inured to
deceit and creeping toward a point of no return where it’s too easy to float on
the idiotic lies while laughing off the serious ones that really make any sense.
So-called celebrities like
this idiotic twit gives us pointless fibs, untruths, falsehoods and
fabrications so that they can keep vying for our limited attention.
The general public doesn’t
need to pay any attention to what Bow Wow has to say about himself. Nobody cares how rich Bow Wow never was.
